Description
The Reverend Charger 290 is fat, raw and bluesy. Built to last for the barrelhouse and a lifetime of live gigs, it features a korina body and beautiful roasted maple neck and fretboard. Reverend 9A5 single-coil pickups provide the right amount of bite to cut through any mix, regardless of genre. The neck 9A5 is cleaner than a vintage P-90; the bridge is wound hotter and slightly thicker. A bass contour control tightens the low end or revoices the pickups for extra twang. Don’t worry about losing treble at lower volumesa treble-bleed circuit keeps it up no matter how quiet you get.
The 290 Charger won’t fail you in long sets. Pin-lock tuners, a Triple-Tree string tree, Boneite nut and TOM bridge with a stoptail will keep you in tune all night. Other features include an angled neck heel, custom jack plate, Pure Tone jack and a hand-signed, initialed headstock.
